Description of works

The sports hall building will be designed with a modern architecture, emphasizing coherence, elegance and sustainability, falling into the category „green buildings”. The project includes not only the construction of the hall, but also landscaping, driveways, access, parking and fencing, ensuring full integration into the whole school.

Structure and materials

• Infrastructure: insulated reinforced concrete foundations, stiffened with foundation beams

• Superstructure: metal frames made of HEA/IPE Europrofiles

• Perimeter enclosures: cold-drawn thin sheet profiles, braced for rigidity

• Cover: 15 cm thick sandwich panels (or 10 cm depending on supplier)

• Protections: corners and joints covered with metal aprons in colors matching the facades

Finishes and architectural details

• Carpentry: dark grey aluminum with NZEB compliant insulating glass

• Pergolas and riffles: metal, painted with special exterior protection

• Soclu: heat-insulated and finished in grey, harmonized with the rest of the building

With this investment, the Alexandru Odobescu Secondary School will benefit from a modern, functional and safe gym, which will provide excellent conditions for educational and sporting activities, but also for the development of the local community.
