Urban Regeneration - America House Area, Bucharest
The project covered urban regeneration of public spaces in front of the building America House, located on 4-8 Nicolae Titulescu Road, Sector 1, Bucharest. The interventions were carried out with the aim of modernizing and reconfiguring the pedestrian area, providing a coherent, aesthetic and functional appearance, in line with the contemporary image of the building and the central area of the Capital.

A series of complex works have been carried out:
building reinforced concrete planters, landscaped with vegetation according to the technical design;
restoration of drainage slopes for efficient rainwater harvesting;
fitting of prefabricated planters and street furniture modern;
replacing the existing asphalt layer from sidewalks with anti-slip granite slabs, 4 cm thick;
re waterproofing of the America House building;
redesign of billboards related to economic operators on the premises.
A key aspect of the project was the way in which the works were organized without disrupting the day-to-day running of the building or the commercial spaces on the ground floor. Throughout the entire duration of the works, the safe and well-signposted temporary access points, fenced with protective fencing specific to the site, thus ensuring the continued operation of business premises and user safety.
With this intervention, the area in front America House has been completely reconfigured, becoming a modern, safe and aesthetic urban space, which contributes to improving the image and functionality of public spaces in the center of Bucharest.
