Rehabilitation, Modernization and Energy Efficiency - Sohatu Kindergarten, Călărași County

In the commune of Sohatu, Călărași county, an important rehabilitation, modernization and energy efficiency of the local kindergarten, having as benefit UAT Sohatu and as designer ALPHA PROJECT SRL.

The building to be altered is C1, built in 1959. The building, with a ground floor and an initial area of 56 square meters, was in an advanced state of deterioration, which required a major intervention.

The new investment involves a expansion and modernization significant:

• Floor area: 289,05 sqm

• Useful surface: 246,07 sqm

• Total volume: 1.605 m³

• Height regime: Ground floor

In order to increase energy efficiency and indoor comfort, the project foresees:

• Exterior wall insulation with basaltic mineral wool (10 cm)

• Floor insulation with extruded polystyrene (10 cm)

• Bridge and floor insulation with basaltic mineral wool (10 cm)

• New AL/PVC joinery with double glazing, insulation coefficient ≥ 0.77 m²K/W

• BCA masonry 30 cm thick

• New roof with wooden frame and tin roofing

An important part of the project is the green energy. On the roof will be mounted photovoltaic panels and solar panels, The new energy-efficient buildings are designed to significantly reduce electricity consumption and building maintenance costs.

With all these works, the kindergarten in Sohatu will become a space modern, safe and friendly, which provides optimal conditions for educational activities and at the same time helps protect the environment.
